FAQs

WHAT KIND OF WAX IS USED?

We hand-pour these lovely candles with premium quality all natural soy based vegetable wax. It is a favourite amongst professional candle makers as it is formulated to have excellent glass adhesion, minimises wet spots and excellent cold and hot scent throw. We are all for promoting sustainability and reducing our carbon footprint and it shows in our choice of suppliers.

HOW CAN CANDLE SMOKING BE MINIMIZED?

Removing all debris and trimming your candle wick down to 5mm before burning help to reduce smoking. As a general rule never burn your candles in a draught and always ensure your candle is not oxygen starved. Candle soot is similar to kitchenware and cooking oil soot and is not considered a cause for concern.

HOW DO I KEEP MY CANDLES POLISHED?

To maintain luster, rub gently with any nylon stocking.

HOW BEST DO I STORE MY CANDLE?

It’s best to store like-scented candles together in a cool, dry, and dark place.

HOW DO I PREVENT WAX FADING?

Avoid direct sunlight and do not leave your candle in your car.

ARE ALL CANDLES SUITABLE FOR THE OUTDOORS?

Unfortunately, No. With larger wicks for more resistance and extra fuel, Outdoor candles
are different from regular indoor candles.

WHY THE AIR BUBBLES IN A CANDLE CONTAINER?

Referred to as wet spots, these are minimized in our candles by a variety of techniques.
They result from adhesion between the jar and the wax, among others. However, this does not affect the candle scent or burn.

WHY NO SCENT?

Rare, but this may be influenced by the size of your room, the wax type, intensity of the
fragrance, and production.
